Catching Halibut in the gulf of Alaska on the Pillar Bay

Fishing in Alaska this summer on the Pillar Bay. The underwater shots were filmed in 1997 on the Jackie R from Gig Harbor Wash. The boat sunk the next year.

An epic day of fishing out of Homer, Alaska with Captain Mike Alred of Bob's Trophy Charters. I release a 130-140 pound halibut and Lee's Lingcod must be about 60 pounds.
